I’m very jaded with most tv, but they are using all the right words to get my attention, so I’m listening and hopefully “original programming” doesn’t mean more bad reality tv. Don’t get me wrong, I used to be a big fan of reality tv, but now that it’s been overscripted and overpimped I just can’t tune in and be taken for an idiot by the likes of the Kardashians. Kim who doesn’t like the taste of alcohol gets trashed in Miami. Well then have the decency not to have her hung over self lying in bed the next whenever in fresh makeup. Enuf said.
And I will be tuning in on Monday night (well okay setting my dvr to record) this:
CENTRIC will kick off the week with a series of shows that commemorate the unforgettable legacy of Michael Jackson. On September 28, CENTRIC will premiere the original episode of the classic music show, Soul Train featuring the late performer at 9:00 p.m.*; followed by a half-hour in-depth profile, MJ: Our Icon at 10:00 p.m. Inside the M.J. Mansion, an insightful documentary that gives viewers a personal snapshot into the singer’s life at 11:00 p.m.; plus an electrifying block of Michael Jackson music videos showcased in a special episode of Soul Sessions.
I may have already seen the Soul Train performance on youtube but it doesn’t hurt to see it on my lovely living room on big screen tv .
