My missing will power

So this Live Science article explains why I have fallen off the wagon with my exercise routine in shameful fashion. Grad school has been kicking my azz and apparently this heavy use of my cognitive abilities has depleted my self-regulatory capacity for other essential tasks like exercise. Or in plain ingles – using up my will power on academic tasks means I have no willpower left to do physical tasks. Not good. Not good. According to the article I can overcome this by listening to music (uh I do listen to music!) and making a commitment to exercise. How do I make the commitment if I have no will power? No capacity to self regulate? Repeat – not good, not good.
